Broad Reach Power operates 17 Battery Energy Storage resources across Texas, providing energy reliability services to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), electric cooperatives, retail electric providers, and municipal utilities. This portfolio in operation represents nearly $200 million investment.
The company is presently actively developing, designing and building an additional 800 MW of transmission-level battery projects in ERCOT territory.
In addition, Broad Reach Power leads the ERCOT interconnection queue for large battery projects with 6,000 MW on the boards. These projects represent an estimated $3 billion in investment potential, with projects being constructed as early as 2022.
